Built for Recall, Not Just Booking
The dashboard surfaces any patient who was prescribed a follow-up and hasn't been back since it was due — a practical way to run recall without a separate campaign tool.
One Record Per Patient, Every Visit
A cleaning, a filling, a root canal — every visit stays on that specific patient's own record, so nothing gets lost in a shared household file.
Prescriptions and Bills on Your Own Letterhead
Every prescription and invoice carries your practice's own name and details — not a generic template that reads the same as every other dental software.
What Dental Clinic Software Should Actually Do
- No tooth-charting or imaging module bolted onto a generic hospital system — just the administrative core done properly: appointments, records, prescriptions, billing.
- Each patient keeps their own visit history, recall schedule and prescriptions — never folded into one shared household record.
- Appointments that don't double-book a chair, whether it's a 20-minute cleaning or a longer procedure.
- Prescriptions and invoices on your own clinic's letterhead, not a dispensary-branded template.
Built for the Front Desk, Not a Dental Imaging Suite
Norcath doesn't do tooth charting, periodontal charting or lab integration — it's the administrative core every dental practice still needs underneath all of that: appointments, one record per patient, prescriptions on your own letterhead and clean billing. If your practice already runs separate clinical or imaging software, Norcath handles the front desk and billing around it rather than replacing it.

Does Norcath do tooth charting or clinical imaging?
No. Norcath handles the administrative side of running a dental practice — appointments, patient records, prescriptions and billing. It doesn't include tooth charting, periodontal charting or imaging, so most dental practices run it alongside their clinical/imaging software rather than instead of it.
What if several family members share one phone number?
By default, Norcath treats a mobile number as that patient's identity, so each patient needs their own number on file. If your practice commonly books family members who share a number, that constraint can be turned off for your clinic — ask us if that's your situation.
Can I tell when a patient is due for their next checkup?
Yes. Every patient's record carries their full visit and prescription history, and the dashboard surfaces anyone who was prescribed a follow-up that's now overdue with no visit since — a practical way to run recall without a dedicated campaign tool.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. New clinics get a 7-day trial at Professional-tier limits with no card required. If no plan is added afterward, the account drops to Starter limits — nothing is deleted.
